Grizzly bars

Grizzly bar seats are often exposed to extreme wear. The seats are often manufactured in 12% manganese steel, which has low toughness and low initial hardness before deformation hardening (˂280 HB). But toughness is crucial when contamination from stones and other materials enter equipment like a limestone crusher.

Hardox® 450 and Hardox® 500 in a grizzly bar seat will help to reduce breakage and extend service life – and can even double the service life.
